The Immortal Jellyfish

Today, I am going to write about the ‘Immortal Jellyfish the Turritopsis nutricula.’

The turritopsis nutricula lives in any warm water in the world, including west side of Korea. The turritopsis nutricula was found in Japan, Korea’s east side sea, and in many other countries.

The turritopsis nutricula eats plankton, fish eggs, and small mollusks. It only eats small creatures because when it is an adult, its maximum size is 4 to 4.5mm.

Does the turritopsis nutricula really live forever or does it just live a long time?Turritopsis nutricula actually lives forever but it can die if they are eaten by a predator. It can only live forever when it’s an adult. So, how does the turritopsis nutricula live forever? It’s easier than you think.

When turritopsis nutricula is starving, threatened or too old, it turns inside out, and changes its cell back to a polyps which is a young turritopsis nutricula and lives a new life!

I think that the turritopsis nutricula is a very interesting animal because it is the only animal that lives forever. I would like to have one, but I think I would die before it does. Why don’t you look for more facts about the turritopsis nutricula?
