The Most Memorable Trip

Going on a trip is one of the happiest moments in life, isn’t it?

I’ve gone on many interesting trips during my short life. But the most memorable time was my trip to San Francisco. Today, I will be your travel guide to San Francisco.

First, Restaurants. There are many restaurants in San Francisco, but you should go to the American style breakfast restaurant and IN and OUT Burger if you become a one-day American. But do not forget to tip the waiter! It is different from Korea. You should give tips to the waiter. If you don’t, you won’t go to jail, but you can become a mean person. IN and OUT Burger is the most famous burger place in California. If you go there, you should line up to buy a burger. I think it tastes like an ordinary burger, but if you like to visit special places, you should try one. Also, you can eat at a steak restaurant if you have enough money or time.

Second, Famous places. Touring famous places is the biggest reason why we go on trips. There are so many famous places in San Francisco like Seoul, but the most popular places are the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite National Park, and Stanford University. The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the world’s most famous bridges. I thought it was made of gold because of its name, but it was not. The bridge was red, and it looked marvelous enough. If you have to visit only one place in San Francisco, I will recommend you the Golden Gate Bridge. Yosemite National Park is where you can see the incredible nature since it has a lot of trees and animals. There is a special thing about this amazing park. It has no traffic lights, but there are park rangers who replace the traffic lights roles instead.

Last, but not least Stanford University. It is one of the most famous universities in America, like Seoul University in Korea. There are many beautiful buildings at Stanford University. You can see the whole campus at the top of the bell tower. If you study very well, you can go to Stanford University and tour the campus.

There is a special vehicle in San Francisco called cable cars, and these may seem similar to the Korean subway, but in reality, it’s different. Korean subways are usually underground, but cable cars are outside. We can see the ocean and beautiful houses. Also, cable cars are smaller than Korean subways, and these are made up of only one car, so passengers have to stand when riding them.

You can also visit the cable car museum which shows the history of cable cars.
