There are many organs that help our body work. For example, our heart pumps blood, and the blood carries oxygen to every part of our body. And bones help our body to remain in the same shape. There are so many of them, but do you know the organ that controls everything in our body? It is the brain, and it has many functions and parts.

Many people think brain is just one thing, but it mainly has three different parts. The human brain is divided into cerebrum, cerebellum, and brainstem. Cerebrum is the largest part of the brain. It controls thoughts, memory, emotions, and speech. And cerebellum coordinates movements, helps maintain balance, and allows humans to remain upright. Brainstem connects the brain to the spinal cord and controls vital functions such as breathing, digestion, and heart rate. Also, there are hippocampus and temporal lobe that are thought to be involved in long-term memory.

Like how we chat with other people by writing letters or using a message app, the brain uses neurons and synapses to communicate with the body. Our brain is one of the organs in the nervous system. The nervous system is composed of neurons and neurological cells. Neurons communicate with each other through synapses that transmit electrical and chemical signals.

Because our brain is important, we should keep it healthy. There are three ways to do this. First, we should exercise a lot because it increases blood flow to the brain. Exercising for only 30 minutes a day can make our brain work more efficiently. Second, to help brain rest, we need to get enough sleep. Creating a bedtime routine and a sleep-friendly environment could help you. Finally, we have to manage stress. Stress can negatively impact brain functions and potentially lead to inflammation. Spending time in nature might reduce stress.

Brain is a special organ in our body. It is divided into cerebrum, cerebellum, and brainstem. Because our brain is filled with neurons and synapses that communicate with each other, we can think as fast as the light. To keep our brain healthy, we need to exercise often, sleep well, and manage stress.
