Watching a movie is a great way to spend your time. You must have a favorite movie – what is it? My favorite movie is Home Alone. It is a great classic comedy that’s usually watched during Christmas. It is a great movie to watch if you want to laugh a lot and feel delighted.
Home Alone is a movie about a boy named Kevin who, just as the title suggests, was left at home alone. Kevin doesn’t like his family because everyone thinks that he is mischievous and a troublemaker. One day, Kevin wishes that his family would just vanish, and the next day, Kevin’s family leaves for a trip, and they forget him! Meanwhile, Kevin wakes up back at home and realizes his family is gone. He doesn’t understand how it happened, but he starts having so much fun enjoying his freedom. However, he starts to feel a bit lonely and, to his surprise, he actually misses his family. This is a big change for Kevin, who usually hated his family. To make things worse, there are burglars who want to break into the house. Therefore, Kevin makes an elaborate protection plan for his home and puts it into action. Luckily, the burglars aren’t very smart, so they keep falling into Kevin’s traps. My favorite trap is the icy staircase which made the burglars fall and slip, failing to climb up the stairs. Eventually, Kevin gets caught by the burglars! But before anything worse happens, the scary old neighbor - whom Kevin was initially afraid of - rescues him, and Kevin learns that the old neighbor wasn’t scary at all. Finally, Kevin gets reunited with his family and the movie ends.

Home Alone is a much better movie than the worst movie I have ever seen: Wonka. I found Wonka too dramatic. Wonka has too many violent scenes, such as when Wonka falls into the chocolate river and almost dies. Also, Wonka is too emotional; it has scenes that make viewers cry, especially when Wonka briefly sees his deceased mother again. That scene made a lot of people cry. Wonka has too many scenes that I found unenjoyable, unlike Home Alone. There is also a scene where Wonka almost gets hit by a man which I found scary. I much prefer comedies, and while others might consider Wonka a comedy, I personally thought it was too serious and dour. It made me feel sympathy for the characters and left me in a contemplative mood, which I didn’t enjoy.
Home Alone is my favorite movie because it is a very well-made comedy where most of the scenes are enjoyable and funny, and the actors did an incredible job bringing their characters to life, making the movie and the characters feel realistic. I especially liked Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci - the actors that played the burglars. They did a good job portraying their roles, as they constantly suffered throughout the movie. If you are looking for a good movie to watch, I hope you can see Home Alone, as it is a great movie to watch with friends and family of any age, and everybody can enjoy watching Home Alone!
