Summer Vacation Should Last 3 Months

The number of vacation days given in a school year is important to the students. There are two types of students, students who would want three months and students who would prefer breaks less than three months. The students’ opinions are different depending on their own experiences and the environment. However, I think summer vacation should last for three months because students need their rest, have time to review and preview, and a time to develop themselves.

           I think three months of summer vacation will bring contentment and relaxation for the students. Many students in Korea have different academies to attend after school which could be exhausting. Students need their rest because they’re young and they must regain their energy. Students can take some time during break to feel pleasant and enjoy their hobbies. Through hobbies students could experience new things and keep their energy up. Students could also feel blissful from starting new hobbies.

           Three months of vacation will be a plenty of time for fun, but also to review the lessons learned and preview what is to come after vacation. Students can preview or review by viewing their textbooks. This will allow students to feel relieved and prepare. It would be easier for the students in class because they already know the substance of the lesson. Students will be able to think in detail during class and develop themselves. Therefore, a long vacation won’t affect the students academically.

           Vacation is time for students to grow and to progress. Students can try out new places like visiting famous and important places. These actions will develop their minds, too. Museums and galleries will also satisfy the students and might spark their interest in different fields. Students can try out new sports and strengthen their bodies as well. It will make them healthier and energetic.

           I think one month for a vacation isn’t enough to relax, preview, or review and develop. Students should rest and gain their energy during vacation. Young children should have plenty of time to play and enjoy their hobbies. Even though many students have academies to attend during vacation, students would be pleased to have a longer break to rest. A long vacation would be a relaxing time for the students to enjoy.
